If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food this is the place to go! Atmosphere is calm and relaxed and the service is outstanding. The employees are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They are always checking in on you, responding to you, asking what they can do for you, it was amazing. The food is very well priced and it’s delicious. It’s seasoned to perfection and the flavor is exceptional! It seriously tastes like it’s from Mexico. I had the Burrito Giganto (I think) and it was amazing. Best wishes for this restaurant in the future. They were amazing!!

I have been here over a dozen times and have not been disappointed yet. My favorite dish is the fish tacos with a regular margarita on the rocks. Highly recommend if your looking for great mexican food.

I would recommend the Guadalajara. Nice to have somewhere in McFarland that doesn't close between 8 and 9 pm for a change.

The service was top notch even though it was busy and the food was very nice. The Margarita pitcher went further than expected and was delightful.

stopped in during covid. most orders were take out, but you done in as well. the atmosphere was charming, with very colorful tables and chairs. the food was good and plentiful. we had the double fajitas order and couldn't finish it.

A colorful, friendly place in the heart of McFarland. First visit by bike as GL was closed. Staff were very friendly and the place is full of colorful furniture. I had the tacos de carne asada. She mentioned flour tortillas and I asked if corn were available. She said yes and asked if I wanted them a la Mexicana, which I replied, 'oh yes!' Companion had a spinach quesadilla which he loved and a chicken enchilada which was also great. The chips and salsa at the beginning were crisp and the salsa pretty standard. But she did being some spicier salsa with our meals. Hell, the place is in the middle of McFarland so palates are probably gonna run a bit more tame. The menu is extensive so we'll be back to try some more!

Absolutely love this place! Me and my family have gone so often we are greeted by name when we go! Wait staff is wonderful, food is affordable and delicious. Recommend to anybody!

Palenque is a fantastic place to eat if you are looking for great Mexican food! Not only is it well priced, but you get SO much food for your money. I work fairly close and if I order out for lunch I can order, pick it up and be back to work in under fifteen minutes. Would HIGHLY recommend eating here!PS. Their margaritas are great!

Giving 5 stars for the first time ever. The food was great. The margarita was excellent. I ordered molcajete with chicken and steak mixed. The quantity was worth the price paid. The margarita had slightly less alcohol but again with the price I paid for that big glass was well worth it. They have great ambience and the walls and furniture have an interesting look and feel. Parking was easy. Highly recommended this place.

I love Palenque! All their food is delicious, and the service has been great. I've always had good experiences and wonderful meals here.

I liked the place because there were only one or two other diners there when we got there at 9pm. So we had the place to ourselves pretty much and waiter had time to take care of us. The food was pretty standard for. Mexican food. Starts with free corn chips and salsa and free water. Then select a entre off the menu. They were there for us when we needed them late night.

I highly recommend Palenque's, which just became my new favorite Mexican place in the area. I recently went to have dinner, and the menu was wide ranging, including a lot of seafood options I generally don't see at other places. The fish tacos were amazing, the fish were seasoned and grilled - unlike lots of fish tacos options. My husband's and mother's plates were heaping, so lots of food for the price. The ambience and decor was unique and pleasing. They had women's pro soccer on the TV - amazing and special, in my experience. But most of all, the waiters are amazing. My father died recently, and we can't help but cry in random places and random times. The waiter who saw my mother weeping while getting out her credit card gave her a long hug until her tears subsided. They did not know each other, just to be clear. That's humanity. They have my business forever from here on out.

Absolutely enjoyed this place! We were sat quickly and assisted quickly. Not a long wait on drinks or the food. The waiter was quick and attentive. Really appreciated it. Husband ordered a molcajete, lots of food and it was amazing. We asked for a few more of the small tortillas that came with, and we were given them. We were not told that it would cost a little extra. I, myself, ordered enchiladas. Looked and tasted great. We both brought home lots of food Will be back!

We love this place! Often we go to Mexico and this business and their courteous team always make us feel welcome and the food has always been enjoyable! The most recent time we endeavored into their to go margarita, pictured. Chips and salsa are delivered to the table almost as soon as you sit so start munching!

A friend and I went there for National Margarita Day..... first time there since I moved to McFarland a week ago. Customer Service was Phenomenal* Margaritas were Excellent* The place was Clean & authentic decor..very cool!! We didn't eat, but the aroma in there smelled delicious! The place got packed very quickly heading into dinner time. Thank you for the fun n great customer service!!

Food is very fresh...made to order. Enjoyed the spicy guacamole and their special fajitas with all the meats. Delicious...and their service is exceptional. there are many Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood but this one stands in the interiors and the menu variety. And don't miss their desserts especially the homemade flan and the fried ice cream
